Slumlord Properties
Anonymous Crime Tips!
NECP In Action

Slumlord properties are not hard to find. Just look for overgrown grass, trash in the yards, broken screens, windows and doors, peeling paint and structural damage, drug dealing going on in the front yards and street, etc.

These people are trying to get rich without regard, and with total disrespect for you and the people that have to live next door to the problems properties. And to make matters worse, many times these slumlords live outside the Metro Area, and sometimes even out of the state.  You deserve better!

We must work hard and be vigilant in our efforts to get rid of these slumlords, or force them to keep their property maintained to acceptable levels as deemed by neighbors.

We will be posting pictures of problem properties as they are submitted to us, with their owners and their owners addresses.  We will also be forming picketing days where we as a group of neighbors will go and visit the slumlords at their own home and picket them as a slumlord. And demand they fix their property.

Why must we as Minneapolis citizens do this work? Because just like we are told about the lack of police...there is no budget for them, we are also told that the inspection department is overloaded because they lack sufficient numbers of inspectors.

This leaves us no other choice but to once again act for ourselves. If you would like to be part of the slumlord removal effort, please e-mail us pictures and addresses of problem properties. If you have contact information for them, send that too.

We also need people that will act as volunteers to picket slumlords when needed, write letters, do phone calling, help us raise funds, and go on walking patrols.

You can e-mail us at; info@nepatrol.org or call 612-708-3064 and leave a message. We need your help to clean up Northeast, without you, it will only get worse!

Remember, always call 311 right away to make a problem property report and get a tracking number. You can do this without giving your name. You can also do in on-line here:
